Meet the Doctors

Dr. Gabe De Los Rios leads Creekside Dental with a patient-first approach and a belief that every smile deserves custom care. A Minnesota native and University of Minnesota graduate, Dr. Gabe brings a strong background in neuroscience and hands-on experience from multiple community clinics, including mobile dental outreach programs across the state.

His clinical focus includes preventive care, restorative dentistry, emergency dentistry, and cosmetic treatments such as veneers, teeth whitening, and Invisalign. A member of the Spear study club, he is continually pursuing advanced continuing education and researching newer technologies and materials that make the dental experience easier and deliver better outcomes for his patients. Their trust has been shaped by his ability to explain treatment clearly and his calming, supportive chairside manner — he's especially passionate about helping anxious patients feel at ease and empowered during their care. His professional background includes membership in the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and Minneapolis District Dental Society.

Outside the office, Dr. Gabe enjoys staying active through running and biking, exploring the Twin Cities restaurant and music scene, and perfecting his coffee at home. He stays busy with his wife and kids, plus two dogs and two cats.

With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Robert Laing brings both technical precision and a calming presence to Creekside Dental, which he joined in the summer of 2023. A graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, he now also teaches there, dividing his time between educating future dentists and caring for patients at Creekside. He has lived in St. Louis Park for over 30 years and is proud to practice in his hometown, where his deep community roots inform the trust he builds with every patient.

Dr. Laing's clinical focus centers on composite restorations, removable prosthodontics, and fixed prosthodontics, with a strong emphasis on long-term health and function. He enjoys helping patients rebuild their confidence and quality of life through restorative treatment — whether they're in pain or simply looking to improve their smile.

Dr. Laing is married with two children: a son serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and a daughter following in his footsteps in dental school. Outside the office, he enjoys weight training, tennis, and biking.
